The Jazz Divas are an all-female jazz band available for events across London, UK and Europe.
FEMALE JAZZ BAND HIRE, WEDDINGS & PRIVATE PARTIES
Available for corporate events, weddings and private parties, this female jazz band features some of the best female jazz musicians in the UK, trained at London’s leading music colleges. They have played alongside some of Britain’s top jazz and pop musicians including; Kenny Wheeler, Lawrence Cottle, Radiohead, Jack Penate, Max Romeo, Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry, Jamie Cullum and Georgie Fame.
On request, the ensemble can feature singer Sumudu Jayatilaka.
ALL-FEMALE JAZZ BAND
During the 1930’s Jazz Age, bands that were all-female such as the Blue Belles, the Parisian Redheads, The Ingenues, International Sweethearts of Rhythm, and “Helen Lewis and Her All-Girl Jazz Syncopators” were extremely popular. This was due to their use within early sound films and television broadcasts. This continued into the 1960s with rock n roll girl groups all the way to the present girl bands of today such as Little Mix.

All of our acts are available to hire across the UK and Europe. For events outside of London travel is charged at cost plus an overnight stay if required. Check out our Youtube and Instagram Channel for more videos and live performances.

Quintet – piano, bass, drums, sax / trumpet and singer OR piano, bass, drums, saxophone, trumpet
Sextet – piano, bass, drums, sax, trumpet, singer.
The Jazz Divas perform songs by Diana Krall, Jamie Cullum, Glenn Miller, and Frank Sinatra, as well as performing their own jazz arrangements of well known pop tunes from The Beatles, Amy Winehouse, and Stevie Wonder.
