    The Latin Jazz Band is made up of musicians from across the globe, featuring musicians and singers from Cuba, Latin America, the UK and Brazil. Made up of some of the most sort after musicians on the Jazz and Latin scene with critically claimed albums under their belts, headlining at Ronnie Scotts.

    The band can perform anything from a trio up to a 10 piece Latin Jazz band. With this wealth of musicians and a variety of singers featuring with the band, they can tailor their set for you from Bossa Nova Trios creating a cool contemporary feel through to full Latin Jazz Band with percussionists from Cuba.

    The Latin Jazz Band have previously performed with a multitude of international and famed jazz artists such as Courtney Pine, Andrew Hill, Wynton Marsalis, Ray Brown, John Hendricks, Nasheet Waits, George Benson, Jamie Cullum, Sir John Dankworth, Jean Toussaint, Dennis Rollins, Guy Barker, Amy Winehouse, Charlotte Church, Sam Moore, Hugh Masakela, Jazz Jamaica, Mighty Sparrow, Soweto Kinch, Skatroniks, Ska Cubano, Chineke Orchestra, David Murray and Liv Warfield.


    The origins of Latin American music are a boiling pot of cultures that can be traced back to the Spanish and Portuguese conquest of the Americas in the 16th century, when European settlers brought their music from overseas along with the African slaves brought to South America. Latin American music is usually performed in Spanish, Portuguese, and to a lesser extent, French.

    The band has also been known to feature singers allowing a different stylistic approach and improvisation. This makes for a more unique and special performance for your event.

    For a fun, funky and fresh jazz-infused night of Latin music, you can choose to have solo trumpet with DJ.
