The Italian Swing Band are an Anglo-Italian Jazz Band with a unique sound that brings to their audiences a taste of la dolce vita with their modern twist on; vintage, classic Italian songs, gypsy jazz, swing and jazz standards in Italian and English.

Whether you’re looking for classic Italian songs, gypsy jazz, swing or vintage, our Italian Swing Band will make a wonderful addition to wedding receptions, corporate events and private parties, creating a relaxed, sophisticated atmosphere for your guests to enjoy.
The Italian Swing Band formed in London in 2014 with singer, clarinettist, guitarist, double Bassist and drummer. The group has since expanded to include two exceptional new members both doubling on clarinet and saxophones.
The band continues to go from strength to strength. The incredible success of their unique spin on vintage Italian favourites like ‘Tu Vuo’ Fa L’Americano’, ‘Volare’, ‘Mambo Italiano’ and many more, has gained the band an international following around the globe.
NOTABLE PERFORMANCES
The Band is regularly invited to perform at special events in Italy (Portofino, Pisa, Agrigento, Lake Garda, Gallipoli, Taormina, and Portovenere for a private party on board a superyacht to name a few). This year they also performed at international Jazz and World music festivals in Greece, Bulgaria and Ukraine and the Henley Jazz Festival in the UK.

We had the Italian Jazz Band onboard in Portovenere, Italy for a guests birthday party on 17th June 2017. It was there first time onboard a superyacht performing and they were seamless and incredibly professional. They were perfect for our Italian theme and Hetty’s voice was beautiful. The guests thoroughly enjoyed their performance with energy and great charisma. I cannot recommend them enough, they made an already great night unforgettable for our guests.

Don Thushari Fashion Stylist & Events (Private Event) 10/10I booked the Italian Swing Band for an Italian themed cocktail party for a pop-up shop launch in London. They were flexible with numbers and budget for me (I only needed a 3 piece, not the traditional 5 piece group). They also had to play outside and we’re very accommodating of that and brought their own speakers / soft music btw sets. So I didn’t need to worry about anything music related on the evening which was a real relief. And they were great. They really lifted and helped make the party a huge success and were truly perfect for our event. I had them sing only Italian themed songs, but they would be wonderful at any style of jazz performance. Easy to work to work with and incredibly professional – I highly recommend.

Celebrity Chef Gennaro Contaldo, The English Italian Awards, September 2016, Manchester Palace HotelWe chose the Italian Swing Band because they looked and sounded like a class act online- and they were on our wedding day! Hetty was professional and friendly from the off and met with me at the venue to discuss the event. The P.A. system being offered by my venue wasn’t suitable for a band and Hetty sourced a suitable one at a better price. The band did 3 x 45 minutes sets of brilliant stuff, including all of our requests and Hetty did a playlist of my choosing for the intervals. The band are talented and trained musicians who charge a fair price for their services. All the guests had a good dance and have since sung their praises to me. They were the perfect band, we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and we look forward to seeing them again soon.

These guys were simply phenomenal, the performance was great and all the guests still compliment them to this day.
