The Big Band has never failed to impress. With 18 full-time professional musicians at your event, all of whom are graduates of the prestigious Jazz Courses from the very best Music Conservatoires in London, a show of the highest quality is guaranteed.

  PAST PERFORMANCES

  Musicians Inc Big Band members have performed individually at the Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall, Ronnie Scotts, Royal Opera House and the Barbican. TV performances have included X-Factor, The One Show, Classical Brits, The Proms and Children in Need. Private events have included exclusive weddings and corporate parties worldwide. With a wealth of experience, the Big Band will guarantee professionalism from their arrival to performance.

  HISTORY OF THE BIG BAND

  Big bands originated during the early 1910s and dominated jazz in the early 1940s when swing was most popular. A Big Band is characterised as an ensemble consisting of ten or more musicians with four sections, including saxophones, trumpets, trombones, and a rhythm section. These big bands would typically perform with a lead singer, including influential artists such as Frank Sinatra, Stevie Wonder & Michael Buble.

  A derivative of the Big Band – the same great music, the same top class musicians,
  but reduced in size for when budget or space is an issue. Line-up can vary from 8 to 12 musicians.
