The Singing Candy Girls will get your evening started in style, the girls will roam through your guests singing in beautiful three-part harmony 1940s ACapella style, distributing sweets (or your own personalised merchandise), before performing a rip-roaring set full of classic hits and modern songs that have been given a retro makeover.
1940’s Music
In the Developed World, Swing, Big band, Jazz, Latin and Country music dominated and defined the decade’s music. After World War II, the big band sounds of the earlier part of the decade had been gradually replaced by crooners and vocal pop. These new wave pop artist included vocal groups like The Andrew Sisters and The Mcguire Sisters who helped put women into mainstream music.
