Featured Vocal Coach
Elinor studied at the prestigious Chetham’s School Of Music before winning a scholarship to the Guildhall School Of Music And Drama where she also won the Tracey Chadwell Prize for Contemporary Music.
A busy performer, Elinor has recently finished a number one tour with the National Gilbert And Sullivan Opera Company. Other career highlights include the role of Mimi in the Olivier Award winning production of La Boheme at The Soho Theatre, the role of Michaela in Carmen at the Royal Albert Hall and Mrs Bear Crawford in a new commission at the Linbury Studio at The Royal Opera House. She has also been the recipient of a Garsington Opera Award.
Elinor is in demand as a vocal tutor and animateur and regularly works with The Royal Opera House, English National Opera, English Touring Opera, Opera North and Aldeburgh Music in this capacity. She recently tutored the child soloists in a new opera which premiered at the Royal Albert Hall: The Freedom Game. She has been a guest tutor with the Canadian Children’s Choir in Toronto.
In the corporate world Elinor has given workshops for choirs for companies including Christy’s Auction House, Aon, BNPParabis, Debenhams, Selfridges, Channel 4, and Baker Mackenzie. She also runs the office choirs of More2 and The Lansdowne Members’ Club.
