Among the many concerts, our violinist has played are the  Opera Theatre Arriaga (Bilbao) before King Philip and Queen Leticia of Spain (Rey Felipe VI de España) and for the President of the Basque Country on various occasions. She has also played in Brompton‘s Oratory (London) before the Ambassador of Spain.

Most recently, she made her onstage London West End debut with Michael Flatley, Lord of the Dance, Dangerous Games at the Dominion and Playhouse Theatres. Instruments like the violin that uses a bow to produce a sound are called bowed stringed instruments. The Arabian rabab and the rebec, were played widely in Spain and France in the fifteenth century and are said to be the ancestors of the violin. The fiddle emerged within Europe near the end of the middle ages as another bowed string instrument.

Both of the earliest violin manufacturers were from northern Italy: Andre Amati and Gasparo di Bertolotti. With these two violin makers, the history of the violin emerges from the fog of legend to hard fact. Violins produced by these two still exist today. In fact, the oldest violin in existence today is one built by Andre Amati around 1565.
