This strolling band are a professional jazz band based in
London. The seven piece
ensemble focuses solely on the traditional
New Orleans style and
contains today's young, up and coming performers. The band's slick,
personal and flexible approach makes it the ideal choice and
finishing touch to your important event.
The band performs
classic early jazz repertoire by Louis Armstrong, Bix Beiderbecke
and King Oliver, perfect as foreground or background music to help
create an informal and relaxed atmosphere. The Silk Street Hot Seven
also offer a wide range of other ensembles which can be tailored to
suit the nature of your event.

Strolling Ensemble
All instrumental players can stroll apart from the drummer. A
minimum 3-piece line up of 1 horn, Banjo, Sousaphone is advisable.
More front line instruments can be added to create a larger more
prominent sound.
